This spring and summer we will see a lot of wax designs in fashion and most of those designs will be from the wax fabric expert Vlisco.

Vlisco is a Dutch company that has been the King of wax fabrics since 1846. This year they have already been seen in the Viktor&Rolf ss2015 collection, and they also teamed up with the oldest manufacturer of outdoor wear, Woolrich (1830).
The Woolrich Parka by Vlisco is made with a wax fabric and water resistant. The design features the iconic Woolrich Eskimo, with sharp lines and military style, softened by a stretch waist and flap pockets. It toggles for adjustable size and fit leisurely finishing with a traditional touch. Quality, craftsmanship and a new take on old traditions make for this season’s answer to lightweight layering.
Vlisco is not sitting still this year. A collaboration with Eatspak is on the way and lets not forget that the main market for Vlisco is still the whole continent of Africa. Therefore they launched a huge campaign that shows the intimate bond between mother and daughter with a new collection named Think.
